You're a Premium RBN Creators Club Member and you want to upload a song. This document provides you with a quick step by step overview on how you get a song from the initial upload to being sold in the store. If you have any questions regarding the sign up process for this site or obtaining a XNA membership, please refer to the Website Doc.

Uploading Your Song
- Make sure that you are signed in.
- Click on the "Dashboard" tab.
- Click on "Add New Song".
- Click on "Browse" to find and select the .rba song file you are uploading.
- Use the "Add Notes" field to display authoring comments or song release notes for you peers.
- Use the "Add Song Details" field to display for sell text or song information.
- Click on the "Upload Song Package" button after you've double checked all of your text.
- Wait for the song to upload
- The site will automatically redirect you to your Recent Activity page.
- Once your song is successfully uploaded, click on the "Confirm Song Info" link under your song.
- Double check the song info then click on "Submit For Playtesting".
- Your song will be available on the website and for your peers to download after 1 to 6 hours after you submit your song for Playtesting.
Playtest
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Once your song changes from "Playtest Pending" to "Playtest Expires in X days", your song is set.
- Your song will be active in Playtest for 14 days total.
- Playtest Information
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Click on your song in Playtest.
- You will be brought to the song's Song Information Page.
- Scroll down to the "Feedback" section. This area contains information about what sections of your song have been playtested.
- Playtest Forum
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Click on your song in Playtest.
- Click on "Comments".
- You will be brought to the to this song's thread in the "Playtest Forum".
- Each thread contains information about that song, links to download the song and a place where your peers can leave detailed feedback.
- Add Updated Version Of Song To Playtest
- At any time during each Playtest Session you can Update your song with a new version.
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Click on your song in Playtest.
- Click on "End Playtest".
- Now your song will be placed into a "Waiting" state.
- Click on "Add A Release".
- Use the "Add Notes" field to add authoring comments or song release notes for the new version.
- Click on "Upload Song Package".
- Once your song changes from "Playtest Pending" to "Playtest Expires in X days", your song is set
Peer Review
- Once your song is in Peer Review it will stay there upwards or 30 days.
- After 30 days you will be given the options to "Retry", "Add Release" or "Delete.
- You have the option to "End Peer Review" at any time.
- Promoting to Peer Review
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Click on your song in Playtest.
- Click on "End Playtest".
- Now your song will be placed into a "Waiting" state.
- Click on "Promote".
- Once your song changes from "Review Pending" to "Review Progress 0% Complete", your song is all set for Peer Review.
- Add New Release into Peer Review
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Click on your song in Playtest.
- Click on "End Playtest".
- Now your song will be placed into a "Waiting" state.
- Click on "Add A Release".
- Use the "Add Notes" field to add authoring comments or song release notes for the new version.
- Click on "I want to submit this song for Release and begin the Peer Review Process"
- Click on "Upload Song Package".
- Once your song changes from "Review Pending" to "Review Progress 0% Complete", your song is all set for Peer Review.
- Peer Review Forum
- Click on "Dashboard".
- Click on "My Songs".
- Click on your song in Peer Review.
- Click on "Comments".
- You will be brought to the to this song's thread in the "Peer Review Forum".
- Each thread contains information about that song, links to download the song and a place where your peers can leave any comments.
Store
- Once your song has been 100% approved it goes into the "Review Closed" state.
- It stays in a holding state until it is checked by Harmonix then will pushed to the Store. This process takes roughly 2 days (can fluctuate).
- Your songs status will change to "Song Approved" when it was successfully made it to the Rock Band Network Music Store.
- All of your approved songs can be viewed on the Creators site at any time.
